- Ensure that the sterilization indicator has properly changed after sterilization to demonstrate the proper execution of the sterilization. The items that have been pouched should be kept in a clean, dry area away from direct sunlight.

- Peel off protective strip
- Fold along perforations
- Press down firmly from the centre outwards
